Matt Lawlor is a partner in the Boston office of Robinson & Cole, LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Development Group, focusing his practice on representing public agencies, municipalities, lenders, developers, and commercial landlords and tenants in matters involving mixed-use and transit-oriented development and infill, financing, and leasing, and land use and regulatory law, including form-based codes. Matt is also an author and instructor, having coauthored two chapters in A Legal Guide to Urban and Sustainable Development for Planners, Developers and Architects, and lectured on form-based codes as part of FBCI’s seminars and at the invitation of planning and real estate industry trade groups. Matt earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and holds a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a current co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Real Estate Law Section.
